Brad couldn't find his winter hat, and I wanted to participate in the Men in Hats Along, so I whipped up this hat for him at the beginning of our winter trip. I used the leftover yarn from the DNA scarf. This was just a simple 2x2 ribbed hat. This was loosely based on a hat in Hip to Knit.
