A Nurse's Prayer
|
|
I stitched this for a friend of mine about to graduate from college with a degree in nursing. This is the first time I've ever drastically changed the colors of a pattern, and I like the way it turned out. I didn't like the original patriotic color theme. I stitched this on DMC linen, which I will never do again. I understand now why it was fairly inexpensive, it was on the crispy side, and really hard to frame. I am also a lot less inclined to work with metallics anymore - it just takes the fun out of it for me. Completed March 9, 2004 |
