I decided to cross-stitch a special ornament for every year of our married life. Each ornament should reflect the main event(s) of the year, so 50 years from now, our tree will tell a wonderful story.

This first one was an easy theme to pick, it was our first Christmas as a married couple. The pattern was not quite as easy, it took a lot of web searching for me to find one I liked. This one I stiched as a surprise, no easy task, but the following years will all be decided upon together.

I finishd the ornament by stitching it to some Christmas fabric and stuffing it with some poly fiberfill, and edging it with trim.
